These images of Grimsby fish dock were taken in 1969 over a period of one week. They show an industry in its heyday ~ a bustling, busy fish market and port, before the start of the “Cod Wars” of the 1970s.

This book has been compiled with a series of "art" images and should be of interest to anyone who is fascinated by the recent history of the UK's fishing industry.

It is 80 pages, with 74 plates printed in black and white on special matt coated paper to bring out the best tonal range of each image.

There are two editions: a limited edition of 150, which is casebound, (with laminated dust jacket), each signed and numbered that comes in a clamshell box complete with a limited edition mounted image from the book. A pre-publication offer will be available with an additional print for the same cost.

The trade edition. This is printed to the same high standard but is not numbered. It is casebound with laminated dust jacket. A pre-publication offer will be available on this edition, each copy will be signed and include an original, signed, unmounted photographic print for the same cost.
