GY Fishtown

These images of Grimsby fish dock were taken by me in 1969 over a period of one week. They show an industry in its heyday ~ a bustling, busy fish market and port, before the start of the “Cod Wars” of the 1970s.

This book has been compiled with a series of "art" images and should be of interest to anyone who is fascinated by the recent history of the UK's fishing industry.

It will soon be available through Michael English Publishing in a limited edition of 60, signed and numbered. It will case bound with laminated dust jacket, printed on Mohawk Superfine Eggshell uncoated stock accompanied by a limited edition (10" x 8") print signed and numbered (shown opposite).
